Marble Table Protection Film Cost: Before Requesting a Quote

Marble table protection film cost depends on dimensions and the scope of the work. Tables with similar apparent size may require different preparation or edge detailing. Ask what a quotation includes before comparing a price per square metre.

Specify transparent protective film if you want to retain the marble appearance. A request to change the colour or pattern should be assessed as a separate decorative project.

Dimensions to provide

For a rectangular top, provide width and length. A 100 × 200 cm top has a geometric upper area of 2 m². This is an area calculation, not a quotation or a final film-consumption figure.

For an oval table, provide overall length and maximum width; for a round table, provide the diameter. Photograph the edge profile and identify extension leaves separately. Agree whether the proposed work covers the upper surface, edges or additional parts.

Existing surface condition

Identify the material where possible. A marble-looking top may not be natural marble. Share available manufacturer information and say when the substrate is unknown.

Show existing film, repairs, cracks, filling and dull areas. Mention previous care treatments. Surface assessment, film removal and stone repair are different tasks and should be described separately.

Photos support an initial review. Final suitability may require an on-site inspection and a small-area assessment. MKK® excludes edge-banded products because of swelling risk.

Ask each provider to define:
